Who we are
CV Lab is run by the app owner and provides a service where you can build, edit and download your resume and cover letter. This privacy policy explains how we handle the information you create in the service.
What information we collect
We only collect information needed to make the service work:
- Account information: name, email address and authentication details from Google when signing in.
- Resume content: work experience, education, skills, contact details and other information you choose to add.
- Uploaded files: PDF or image files of existing resumes you import.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We do not store card details.
- Technical logs: anonymized information about errors and performance to keep the service secure.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create, save and display your resume and cover letters.
- Send PDF files and important account messages.
- Manage your subscription and payments through Stripe.
- Improve the service through anonymized statistics and debugging.
AI and third-party services
When you import a resume or generate a cover letter with AI, the content is sent to an AI model via the Lovable AI Gateway. We do not share your data with more services than needed to generate the result. Traffic is encrypted and the models do not store your data for training.
How we protect your data
Your data is stored encrypted in the backend provided by Lovable Cloud (Supabase). Only you and authorized system administrators can access your information. We use industry standards for encryption, password protection and secure access:
- All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
- The database is protected by row-level security (RLS) so each user only sees their own data.
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Account sign-in uses proven OAuth or email/password authentication.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account and resumes at any time by contacting us. We delete your data as soon as we can, except information we must keep by law.
Cookies and analytics
CV Lab only uses necessary cookies for login and basic functionality. We use anonymized visit statistics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser.
